The national seminar on “Current Perspective in Pharmaceutical Stability Testing and Drug Regulations” was organised by Sanjo College of Pharmaceutical Studies, Vellapara, Palakkad on 19 December 2022. The seminar was started with the welcome speech by Dr. Vinod K R Principal, Sanjo College of Pharmaceutical Studies, Vellapara, Palakkad. The inauguration was done by Mar. Peter Kochupurackal, Bishop, Diocese of Palakkad. The Presidential Address was delivered by Fr. Sumesh Nalpathamkalam, Director, SCOPS which was followed by the releasing of seminar abstract. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. B. Samuel Thavamani, Vice Principal, Sanjo College of Pharmaceutical Studies, Vellapara, Palakkad.
The speakers of the event were Dr. Sajeev Kumar M S Assistant Drug Controller and Mr. Felix Joseph. Government Analyst, Head DTL, Konni Pathanamthitta. The first scientific session was ” An overview of drug regulation presented by Dr. Sajeev Kumar. The second session was delivered by Mr. Felix Joseph which was on “Careers in Pharma Industry and Stability Testing of Pharmaceuticals”.
Oral presentation, poster presentations and quiz was conducted for students of different institutions. The winners of oral, poster and quiz were awarded during the valedictory function.
