Bachelor of Pharmacy(B.Pharm)

Bachelor in pharmacy is a degree level course in the field of pharmacy. The main objective of the course is to provide an insight into the different areas of pharmaceutical field like dispensing, manufacturing, research, clinical area etc. Graduates can pursue diverse career paths including, pharmacist, pharmaceutical researches, regulatory affairs specialist and health care consultants after the B.pharmacy course.Candidates shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects, with 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology put together and 50% marks in Mathematics/Biology separately.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

The B. Pharm Lateral Entry program is designed for students who have successfully completed a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm). This pathway allows students to gain direct admission into the second year of the B. Pharm program, facilitating a smoother transition to advanced studies in pharmaceutical sciences.

a) Candidates should have studied Diploma in Pharmacy (under Education Regulations 1991 /2020 of Pharmacy Council of India) in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the Kerala State Board of D.Pharm Examinations or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the final year examinations.

b) Candidates should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council and the registration certificate is to be produced at the time of counseling. OR Candidates should have applied for registration with the State Pharmacy Council and the proof thereof is to be produced at the time of counseling.
