SANJO COLLEGE OF PHARMACEUTICAL STUDIES **IZARRA 2.0 2K22**
The Christmas celebration for this year was organized by the 7 Sem B. Pharm students along with the support of Programme Committee of SCOPS on 22″ of December. The event started with the Santa Claus entry followed by a surprise flash mob by the 7″ Sem girls. Further celebrations were held at the college seminar hall. The hall was beautifully decorated using snowflakes. christmas tree, snow man, stars, balloons and hangings. The programme was anchored by Miss. Mariya Rapheal and Miss. Irene Therese.
The formal part of the celebration began with a prayer. All the dignitaries were cordially invited to the dais. Welcome speech was delivered by Miss. Adheena Jeby. Inaugration of the event was done by the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Walter Thelappilly, Director of Paalana Hospital, Palakkad, followed by his inaugural address. The Presidential address was delivered by our beloved Director, Rev.Fr. Sumesh Nalpathamkalam and felicitation speech by our Principal, Dr. Vinod K.R. Dr. Sreeja P A, Professor and head of Dept of Pharmacy Practice shared the Christmas message. Christmas cake cutting was done by the chief guest and a Christmas hamper was gifted to him as a token of love.
The most excited batch wise carol song competition was conducted with much enthusiasm and was judged by two Professional singers, a Mom-daughter combo (Mrs Thresyamma and Miss Ann Roshna). Cash prize worth rupees 1500, 1000 and 500 was gifted to the 1, 2 and 3 prize winners respectively from the college, Christmas gifts were given to the lucky staff and a lucky student by the 7 sem batch. The entertainment session included games for staff and treasure hunt for the students. Vote of thanks was delivered by Albin Antony, 7 sem. The Christmas celebration came to an end with a joyful DJ.
